The most striking thing about a coast is its bays and headlands. Bays are eroded by waves more easily because their rocks are softer.
Headlands have many shapes depending on the rocks they are formed from.
As headlands erode, so caves can be formed on both sides. When the backs of the caves meet, arches and then stacks form.
