Gods and the cosmic force
Although Hindus believe that there is a Supreme God, they also believe that God can be worshipped in an almost endless number of ways.
So, each person, family and community worships the gods and goddesses they are most comfortable with. Because every god and goddess is a part of God, worshipping them is a way of forming a more personal and direct relationship with the Supreme God.
H These people are worshipping in a mandir. They are listening to a priest say prayers and make offerings to the main god and goddess worshipped in this mandir.
