What is sport? Sport is a competitive physical activity.

Sport is mainly thought of as some kind of physical activity which involves competition, often as part of a team. However, there are also many people who do individual physical activity, such as skiing or jogging to please themselves and keep fit. You can also think of these are sports. The Olympic Games uses the term "Sports and disciples". There are hundreds of sports, and if they are competitive, they are usually governed by a set of rules. Not everyone can be a high-standard athlete of some kind, and so many sports also draw large crowds of spectators.
