Opaque

What does opaque mean? Something that you cannot see through.

From opaque to transparent.

You cannot see things through an opaque material because light cannot pass through it. Light shining on an opaque material is stopped at its surface. On the other side of the opaque material, where there is no light, it is dark and in shade. Opaque objects cast shadows.

Opaque is at one end of the range of transparent>>translucent>>opaque. The video shows you all three.

Video: transparent/opaque.
