Holy Spirit

What is the Holy Spirit? The Holy Spirit is one of the forms of God and part of the Holy Trinity (Father, Son and Holy Spirit).

Here you see the Holy Trinity in which the Holy Spirit is shown as a dove.

Christians have tried to understand the nature of their God, and agree that God makes himself known to people on Earth in three ways: as God the Father, God the Son (Jesus) and also as a kind of invisible messenger called the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit is often shown in religious Christian pictures as a dove.
