What is the Holy Land? The Holy Land is the land between the Jordan River and Mediterranean Sea (now mostly Israel) in which many Biblical events occurred.

The Holy Land is the area in which many historical events took place connected to the histories of the Jewish, Christian and Muslim peoples. The area is part of modern Israel and was historically the areas known as Palestine and Judea.

The main city in the Holy Land is Jerusalem.
