Who was Herakles? Herakles was the greatest of the mythical Greek heroes.

Herakles (Roman Hercules) was a hero in Ancient Greek stories. He was the son of Zeus. He was the greatest of the Greek heroes and a champion of the Olympian athletes.

Herakles is connected to extraordinary strength, courage and ingenuity. By conquering dangerous forces he made the world safe for mankind.

Herakles was one of the Argonauts – a band of heroes in Greek stories, who went with Jason to find the Golden Fleece.
