What was a forum? A forum was the business centre of a Roman city.

The main centre of a Roman town or city. It would contain a market (agora) but also business buildings (basilicas) and many statues.

The video below shows Rome. The centre of Rome was the forum. Spot it to the left of the Colosseum.
