Cold War

What was the Cold War? The Cold War was a time when the United States and her allies, such as Britain, nearly went to war with the Soviet Union and her allies. It lasted between the end of World War II and the 1990s.

The Cold War was a time when there were no battles, but when two sides were attacking one another through spies and other means. The Soviet Union, as it then was, stopped goods from getting in to Berlin, Germany, and the allies had to send in goods by airplane for two years before the blockade was lifted. The video shows this.

Some people would argue that, with recent actions by Russia, we have entered another cold war.
