Circuit, electrical

What is a circuit? A circuit is a combination of wires and components such as light bulbs connected together for a useful purpose.

A simple circuit, where wires connect the bulbs to the batteries.

An electrical circuit connects electrical things that we want to use to a source of electricity.

Circuits can be very simple, such as when we connect a light bulb to a battery, or they can be very complicated such as the circuits inside a television set. But however simple or complicated they are, circuits are always loops connecting an electrical supply to the things that have to be worked.
