Who was Neville Chamberlin? Neville Chamberline was the British Prime Minister who declared war on Germany at the start of the Second World War.

Neville Chamberlain was a British Prime Minister who tried not to get involved in war with Germany, but who in the end had to declare that Britain would go to war.

Many people did not like Chamberlain because they thought he was always giving way to the Germans under Hitler. The Prime Minister to follow him in 1940 was Winston Churchill.
