Berry

What is a berry? A berry is a small fleshy fruit.

Top left, going clockwise: (you can do this).

A berry is any small fleshy fruit. It does not always end with the word berry. Tomatoes are berries, for example. Cherries are also berries, as are grapes. Even oranges and limes are berries, although their skin has developed into a thick rind.

They mostly have a thin skin and a pulpy interior containing seeds. However, there are exceptions: strawberries have seeds on the outside.
